Leadership Training

Leadership training takes place on a few select Sunday afternoons in the year. It’s open to anyone in New Gen City Church who’s keen to grow in their relationship with God, and be equipped for serving the Lord. You might think it’s not for you because you don’t have a specific leadership role in the church, but you’ll find that this training will train and equip you to disciple others, and be more effective in your call to shine for the Lord, serve Him, and others around you. Added to that is the general call for all humans to rule over the earth. Genesis 1:28 'Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.” ' So in that sense, everyone is called to lead.

Other Details

Start time is 3pm and we will finish at 5pm.

We’ve decided to host the training in the eldership team’s homes, because we’re wanting to create an atmosphere that’s warm and inviting that will foster friendships and fellowship.

We’ll serve afternoon tea, and start with a short time of fellowship.

The training is free, and will be relevant for ages 13 to 100.

There won’t be a kids program in place so if you decide to bring your kids, you’ll need to supervise and take responsibility for them.
